Size
Six inches is the perfect size for a smash cake. It will fit on the cake stand and between baby’s legs.
Avoid Chocolate
Chocolate isn’t the most photogenic when all smashed up 💩. Additionally, it has a slightly bitter taste to it, so babies tend not to like the flavor at the first impression.
Avoid Fondant
It is beautiful, but it can be hard for little ones without many teeth to chew, which can pose a choking hazard. Additionally, fondant is harder for your baby to smash through the fondant to get to all that messy goodness!
Please remember, due to allergy liability.
I ask that all clients provide their own smash cake. I am happy to help design and make recommendations.
